How can I prevent address correction charges?

To prevent your parcels being returned due to incorrect address details, kindly confirm the delivery address with your customer. It is inevitable for a second delivery fee to be charged on a return due to incorrect address or contact details.

How many days will it take for my package to be delivered?

Local - In the city where the client is located: 24-48 Hours Major Centre's: meaning from the sender address to the final mile: major centre areas include Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, George, East London, Polokwane, Rustenburg, Nelspruit, Witbank, Bloemfontein, Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom, Pretoria and Pretoria Surrounding areas: 2-4 days Regional Areas: Any Cities or towns not defined under Local of Major Centre Areas: 3-5 days. Please note that far outlying areas may take up to 7days for a successful delivery. Dependent on service availability as per 3rd party route guides, which can be obtained on request.

Why wasn't my package delivered in three days, as indicated?

Please be advised that the specified transit times is only an indication, should no delays occur. Certain outlaying areas are only serviced on specific days. Kindly request a route guide should you require specific dedicated area.

How do I void a shipment?

Do you offer a same-day parcel delivery system?

No, not at current stage of development of our Domestic Courier service.

What's the schedule of BUFFALO COURIERS' operation?

Bufffalo Couriers Operational Schedule is 24 hours, 7 Days a week. This however does not include our collection and delivery times.

When will the driver arrive to collect my shipment(s)?

The driver will arrive to collect your shipments(s) between 9:00am and 5:30pm on the working-day you selected for collection. On rare occasions, the collection can occur before 9:00am and up to 6:00pm as well. Please contact us for more details.

How to calculate time and cost?

Please refer to the route guidelines provided.

Why my package is returned?

Receiver unavailiable, No One at the premises, incorrect address, incorrect contact details.

Are there any restrictions on what we can deliver?

Yes - certain items are classified as Restricted Items which means that though we can transport them, they are carried on a no-compensation basis (in case of loss and damage). Certain other items are classified as Prohibited Items which means we are not allowed to transport them under any circumstance and if such items are sent, they might be returned to the Sender or Destroyed completely. There would also be fines levied by BUFFALO Couriers if Prohibited Items are sent via our Service.

What items are prohibited?

Examples of restricted items: All items that fall under Hazardous and Toxic materials (substances that when transported are a risk to health, safety, property or the environment). Explosives. Flammable Gases. Flammable Liquids. Flammable solids. Oxidizing. Toxic & Infectious. Radioactive. Corrosives. Pestisides, Weapons, and goods of narcotic nature.

How do I make changes to a delivery l have sent?

You may notify us of any changes you need to make at sales@bufflogistics.co.za.

How to modify the package that has already been sent

Once a package has been sent and is already onroute for delivery, no modification can be done.

I am not at home, can I delay delivery?

You may notify us should you not be available for delivery, and alternative arrangements will be made.

How can I cancel my delivery?

Deliveries must be cancelled before the actual delivery takes place by notifying us immediately of such cancellation.

Will a package be delivered if nobody is there to accept it?

No, a proof of delivery is required to be signed by the receiver.The client will be held liable for the payment of the collection/delivery if the address was incorrect, or the sender/receiver was not able to send/receive the parcel at the time of delivery and the parcel/collection must be returned or rescheduled again.

Can I have my parcel collected from my home or office?

Yes, from both home or office addresses.

Do you offer a door-to-door delivery service with pick-up included?

Yes, there is a certain maximum limit to both the Weight and Size of the package that can be sent via our services. Please use our Freight Quotation Function to confirm whether your parcel complies with the maximum parameters.
